What is the key to being the best coach you can be?
Personally, I have found that when I am learning from the best, I become better in my business and how I teach others.
I took Natasha my assistant to Oprah Winfrey here in Sydney in December.
WOW – now Oprah is one BIG inspiration!!
What an honour to see her in person.
Watching Oprah share her life story, she reminded me of the truth that greatness happens to those who are the most unlikely candidates.
Like you and me, Oprah was not born into wealth or fame.
Instead, she learnt from an early age to listen to the whispers from the Universe. The little messages or signs that are guiding us all every single day – guiding us to the path we are born to follow.
If you're a health coach wanting to turn your hobby into a thriving business, then this is where you want to be.
Not only do I talk about all things health coaching on my blog, but we have an amazing tribe of health coaches and wellness entrepreneurs getting help and supporting each other in my free Facebook group, The Healthy Wealthy Society.
And then there is my popular, UPswing Mastermind.
So what is UPswing Mastermind all about?
At a spirited urban retreat I attended last December here in Sydney, we did an exercise around receiving that turned into a major “aha” moment for me.
Basically, we had to allow our partner (a stranger) to give to us, in the form of a shoulder massage, and see how much we could fully trust that it was safe to receive.
It surprised me to find that I experienced some resistance during this process. I kept wondering when the time would be up, and feeling like I needed to give back in order to “deserve” this.
Over the last few days, I have been talking to a number of awesome ladies who are looking to join the UPswing Mastermind.
I have noticed one particular theme coming up that I wanted to talk about with our whole community.
I’ve noticed that many of you are concerned that the health coach market is already full, saturated, or over-crowded.
That it is ‘too late’ to get into a health coaching business. That there is ‘no room for me’
Just a few days ago, I hosted an amazing training session where I shared my $5k per month plan. The response has been great. So many people came along to the call, and so many health coaches have been sharing their journey.
But some people missed out - so I’ve decided to do an encore and this time I’m keeping the replay up!!
Just watch it below or head on over to YouTube to watch it there.
If you’re anything like me, you want:
A business that allows you to work on your own terms
Financial stability AND to feel like you have a purpose in the world
Ideal, reliable and long-term clients
Flexibility & location independence
But right now, it may feel like there are some ‘invisible barriers’ holding you back…
I’m excited to be popping in today with my new FREE ebook ‘Healthy Wealthy Biz’.
This may just become your new favourite beach read if you are like me, hanging on the summer holiday feeling as long as I can (or perhaps ready for an island getaway for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere).
Thank you to all of you who submitted questions last year that I was able to incorporate into the interviews!
People ask me this all the time: “Isn’t one-on-one coaching more powerful than joining a Mastermind program?”
For beginners, I believe that there’s no way working one on one with a mentor will get you all of the learning and the teaching you are given in a Mastermind curriculum.
Don’t get me wrong, I coach people one-on-one (my more advanced clients who want mentoring around strategy), but for beginner coaches or coaches who are struggling to make things work, a Mastermind program is proven to be the best way to get results.
This is the third post of my goal setting series, where I walk you through how to release what has come before and get ready to start achieving massive goal success in the coming year (and months!) ahead.
Ok, so to summarise the last couple of posts – we breathed out and released the past year, we sat down to create our intentions for the coming year, and now we can FOCUS on what our actual goals are going to be.
You’ll need your notes from the last session – the 4 categories you wrote down in your journal.
Go back to what was most important to you in those 4 categories in my previous blog post.
