Being seen is one of the most vulnerable things we can do when starting out as a health coach.

My image was shared by one of my Likers, a friend of his saw it and contacted me the following day expressing interest to work with me. I ended up selling him 2 programs and $1200 of sales. Quickest, easiest and most enjoyable sale so far!

Step 2 is one of the biggest reasons health coaches don’t get clients. It can be truly scary to put ourselves out there and promote ourselves, yet essentially this is the most effective way for others to benefit from our programs.

 

Quite simply, if people don’t know you exist, they can’t buy your program and you can’t help them. Period.

 

Being seen was initially one of my biggest resistances when I started my health coaching business.

When I finally embraced all I’d learnt from 13 years in advertising I saw the importance of being seen - it was a game-changer in getting clients – fast…

 

One of the ways I got visible very quickly was by utilising my background as an Art Director and making beautiful graphics for everything I did.

By creating a promotional graphic for something as simple as a live call, or a free discovery session, it creates interest, professionalism and an experience that people want to be part of.

By consistently ‘advertising’ my services in this way, my services as a health coach became known quickly and my following grew fast.

To supercharge your graphics – nothing works more powerfully than a front-on photo of you – eyes, to the camera, smiling, open and real. This builds the ‘know, like and trust’ factor quickly and the more people see you around, the more they will start to get used to your presence as a reliable constant source of information.

I decided to take the leap and make myself visible. I shared a photo of myself, some fun facts about me and a little about my business on Facebook.

In the past hour, I have already received 2 messages of people wanting to work with me, received 2 bookings for discovery sessions and added 5 people to my email list.
